nagamangala Taluk, madya district,Karnataka state india is a vokkaliga
community Mutt.
Sri Kalabhairaveshwara is the
Kshetra Palaka of Sri Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Math. Lord
Gangadhareshwara is the presiding deity. The Pancha Lingas, the Jwala Peetha,
Sthambamba are all held in great reverence by the devotees. The peak point of
the Giri (hillock) is known as Akasha Bhairava and the sacred pond by the
temple is Bindu Sarovara. Recently two attractive lakes have been built for the
Theppothsava programmes. The old Bindu Sarovara is also renovated recently as
per agama tradition.
Sri Adichunchanagiri
Mahasamsthana Math is situated on a rocky hill at an altitude of about 3,300
ft. above M.s.l. 110 km west of Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka, India and
6 km from Bangalore-Mangalore National Highway 48. The approach to the hill is
from the west and the pilgrim who looks up the hill while visiting, it finds
the hill itself to be in the form of Athmalingam found in the Gokarna Kshetra.
At the time of moon-rise the hill appears like the moon crested Shiva, i.e,
Chandramouleswara. This abode of green woods and small lakes enlivened by wild
peacocks and birds has been attracting sages and rishis since ancient times.
The Shivapurana, inscriptions
and the folklore have references to this Kshetra. Legends say that AdiRudra
handed over this Kshethra to Siddha Yogi who established the Siddha Simhasana
and the Math. The present head, Sri Sri Sri nirmalnanadannataha swami is the 72nd head of this Mutt. Swamiji
became the head of the Mutt in 2013. The Mutt grew rapidly under the 71st
pontiff Jagadguru Sri Sri Srbalagangadhranatha swami

The Karnataka Common Entrance
Test and Aptitude Test is being conducted for the purpose of determining the
eligibility / merit, for admission of Karnataka candidates to the First year or
First semester of full time courses in Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, Unani,
Homoeopathy, Naturopathy & Yoga, Engineering, Technology and Architecture
courses, in institutions within the State of Karnataka.
Admissions for Government seats shall be made in accordance with the Karnataka Selection of Candidates for Admission to Professional Institutions Rules, (in short ‘Rules’) as amended from time to time. In case of any discrepancy, the Rules shall prevail.
The candidates from outside Karnataka can also write the Common Entrance Test. However, the seats in Government / University / Aided courses in aided colleges will not be offered to such candidates. As regards seats in un-aided colleges, the details of seats available, if any, and the procedure of allotment, if seats are available, will be notified subsequently and will be subject to the above condition.

least 50% marks in the PCB subjects. 40% for
SC / ST / Category-1 candidates provided that for Dental course, the
candidate must have secured 50% marks in the optional subjects including
English subject.
